Provider Tools
Running an independent practice means wearing a lot of hats. PrimeCare works to make that easier for our members. This page brings together the tools, documents, and resources your practice needs in one convenient place. Whether you’re a new member getting oriented or a longtime provider looking for a specific document, everything is organized here for quick access. Use the accordions below to find what you need and get back to doing what matters most: caring for your patients.
Oregon law requires insurers to pay or deny a clean claim within 30 days of receipt. If additional information is needed, the insurer must notify the provider within 30 days and resolve the claim within 30 days of receiving that information. Late payments accrue 12% annual interest. Know your rights—and use them.
Jackson Care Connect is the coordinated care organization (CCO) for Oregon Health Plan members in Jackson County, covering roughly one in four county residents. Their provider newsletter delivers updates on policy changes, quality metrics, care coordination, behavioral health programs, and payer requirements. If your practice serves OHP patients in the Rogue Valley, this is a publication worth following.
AgeRight Advantage is an Oregon Medicare Advantage Institutional Special Needs Plan (I-SNP) serving residents of long-term care, assisted living, and memory care facilities. Their provider communications cover plan changes, clinical protocols, and administrative requirements specific to post-acute and long-term care settings. Required reading if your practice includes Medicare-eligible patients in those environments.
