About the Southern Oregon Medical Society

Our vision is a collaborative community of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician associates unified in their desire to provide high-quality care. Learning, social, and advocacy opportunities bring us together to deepen knowledge, build relationships, and create positive impacts on patients and healthcare professionals throughout southern Oregon.

Monthly CME activities strengthen local standards of care and increase our ability to provide high-quality care. Monthly gatherings also build the relationships that optimize patient consultations and create opportunities for learning from one another. By increasing the sense of belonging locally, these events support satisfaction, purpose, and retention of medical providers and their families. Future activities may also allow for coordinated advocacy opportunities.
